Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), with Construction Industry Institute (CII) a renewal of Government membership, period of Performance 01 August 2022 through 31 July 2023. Sole Source determination is based on the need for Government membership to CII providing subscription of CII�s online education courses, in direct support of NIST and Office of Facilities and Property Management (OFPM) construction staff in learning better practices & providing support to the Design Construction Division (DCD) program. CII is the only known vendor capable of providing NIST the required membership. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition if 813920-Professional Organizations with a size standard of $16.5M. A determination by the Government whether to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to t his notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties that believe they could satisfy the requirement listed above for NIST may clearly and unambiguously identify their capability in writing on or before the response date for this notice.� This notice of intent is not a solicitation.� Any questions regard this notice must be submitted in writing via email to Kathy.Thomerson@nist.gov.� All responses to this notice of intent must be submitted so that they are received at Kathy.Thomerson@nist.gov no later than July 18, 2022 by 10:00 am EST.
