- The United Sates Marshals Service (USMS) has a requirement to renew a lease of approximately 10,290 rentable square feet of private hangar and office space located at St. Petersburg / Clearwater Airport for occupancy not later than September 1, 2022 for a term of ten (10) years, one (1) Base Year and nine (9) Option Years. Rentable space must yield a minimum of 10,200 to a maximum of 10,500 square feet of ANSI/BOMA Office Area (ABOA) for use by the USMS for personnel, furnishing, and equipment. Air conditioning desired. The offered building/space must be located within the boundaries of an airfield capable of the take-off, landing and both apron and hangar parking of the aircraft. The hangar must be capable of receiving, covering, and storing an aircraft with a minimum wingspan of 52ft. Due to USMS mission requirements, the airfield must be located within 25 miles of USMS Middle District of Florida (M/FL) District office and the USMS fugitive task force office in Tampa, Florida. FAR 13.501(a), Sole Source Acquisitions. The USMS anticipates award on a sole source basis to Sheltair St. Petersburg, LLC. The results of the Market Research indicate, Sheltair St. Petersburg, LLC, a small business, is the only source available in the required geographical area.� This notice is NOT a request for proposals or quotes. A Request for Quote will not be available for this requirement. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. However, any information received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. Information in response to this notice may be sent to Pamela Sullivan, Contracting Officer at pamela.sullivan1@usdoj.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this action is solely within the discretion of the Government. No phone calls regarding questions will be accepted and will not receive a response. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
