- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 2, intends to award a sole source award contract to Neurologica Corp, 14 Electronics Ave, Danvers, MA 01923. The VA Medical Centers in the Bronx is currently seeking an emergency detector replacement of the Samsung GM85 Portable X-Ray Unit. Locations: James J. Peters, VA Medical Center, 130 W. Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, NY 10468. The Samsung GM85 Portable X-Ray Unit (serial number SMA1940127) Image Detector requires repairs. This unit is needed for direct patient care. It offers medical staff the option of doing x-rays to patients that are not mobile. The contractor shall provide all resources (labor, equipment, travel, parts, and services) necessary to accomplish the full repair. The unit is located at the 2D Radiology Area, 2nd of Building 100. Reporting Office: Biomedical Engineering, 2A-30, GB-02 & 6A-05. The contractor shall use Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) new parts only. All parts supplied shall be compatible with existing equipment. New parts shall be furnished by the contractor and guaranteed against defects and/or failure for a period of 1 year from the date of completed installation of the component. Period of Performance(s): 08-02-2022 thru 08-05-2022 NAICS: 811219 (Size Standard $22.0 Million) For future consideration, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by July 21, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. (EST). Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. Responses to this electronic notice must be made by 10:00 a.m. EST on July 21, 2022.
