- Description
- The Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific at Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), Hawaii intends to issue a solicitation for a firm fixed-price, non-personal services contract for Hospital Aseptic Management System (HAMS) Services for the 51st Medical Group at Osan Air Base, South Korea.� This requirement is for a period of performance from 01 October 2022 � 30 September 2023 (Base Period), with four (4) one-year option periods. Required qualifications include but are not limited to: (1) The contractor shall furnish all personnel, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation and other replenishment supplies and services necessary to provide cleaning services as described herein shall be performed at buildings 2403, 777, 768, 766, 759, 752, and 747 of this Performance Work Statement (PWS). Quality of services shall be consistent with Association for the Healthcare Environment (AHE) Practice Guidance for Healthcare Environmental Cleaning, commercial standards, all local, state and federal laws and the requirements of this Performance Work Statement (PWS). All services performed must meet the prescribed standards to be regarded as acceptable. Services considered unacceptable shall be re-performed at no additional charge to the Government. The contractor is encouraged to apply innovative techniques and managerial approaches that will yield increased levels of service and greater cleaning efficiencies. (2) The Contractor shall provide Personal Protective Clothing (PPC) and devices (i.e., rubber aprons, safety shoes, outdoor weather gear, and gloves). (3) The Contractor shall be responsible for assuring that all personnel receive required immunizations as annotated in MDGI 48-107, which includes the influenza vaccination. Also, as a condition of employment, OSHA requires that all contract employees who will have occupational exposure to blood or body fluids, or other potentially infectious materials, shall receive a Hepatitis B vaccine, sign an informed voluntary declination, or have documented immunity to Hepatitis B infection. Employees who sign declinations may change their minds at any time and receive the Hepatitis B vaccine. NOTICE TO OFFERORS All sources may submit a quote as applicable.� However, the Republic of Korea (ROK)-United States (U.S.) Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA), may preclude the U.S. Government from granting Invited Contractor or Technical Representative Status to any offeror, for this requirement.� All sources submitting a quote, including U.S. sources, must already have OR confirm their ability to obtain the requisite business licenses directly from the ROK Government, and conduct business in accordance with all applicable ROK laws, including but not limited to, rules and policies regarding labor, taxation, and immigration.� If an initial quote does not fully demonstrate this authorization and capacity, it will not be further considered for award. Whether an offeror demonstrates this authorization and capacity shall be determined by the Contracting Officer. The proposed acquisition will be full and open competition.
