- This procurement was previously synopsized on 14 June 2021 under N00024-21-R-2452, and is being re-synopsized due to a revised requirement. The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract to Textron Systems Corporation, 19401 Chef Menteur Highway, New Orleans, LA 70129 for the procurement of up to twenty-one (21) Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) 100 Class craft and up to 50,000 hours of Special Studies and associated Travel costs in support of the Ship to Shore Connector Program. The latest delivery date would be 27 May 2030 should all options be exercised. The contract will include the ability to order Engineering and Industrial resources, Interim Support, Software Support, and craft shipping. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Textron Systems Corporation directly. This announcement is published for informational purposes only. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302.� Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
