- Description
- Industry Partners Your support to our mission accomplishment is invaluable to us. In this vein, we want to remind you and your staff members of the role and responsibility given when accessing DIA IT systems. Over the past few months, the Chief Information Office has seen an increase in inappropriate content being viewed on DIA IT systems. Keep in mind that any personal use of our systems that results in loss of productivity or interferes with the performance under your contracted activities may result in DIA revoking network access and pursuing action at the company level as a result. Use of DIA IT systems serves as consent to be monitored and is provided after reading, signing, certifying understanding of, and agreeing to adhere to the terms in DIA Systems Access User Agreement on the DIA unclassified network. As a reminder, prohibited activities includes: Performing workstation maintenance. Connecting personal portable electronic devices to DIA IT resources. Use of personally owned media (e.g., compact discs, USB flash drives, digital video displays) in DIA IT resources. Inappropriate mass mailing, initiating, or propagating electronic chain letters. Creating, downloading, viewing, storing, copying, engaging in, or transmitting data related to activities that reflect adversely on DIA (e.g., gambling, hate speech, illegal weapons, terrorist activities, pornography, and any inappropriate and/or illegal activities) or that are outside your contract-specific duties and responsibilities. Use of DIA IT resources for commercial activity, such as creating products or services for sale, stock trading, or operating a business. Accessing or viewing sexually explicit material, including personal material or such material in personal webmail accessed from a DIA IT resource, unless explicitly authorized under contract-specific requirements and in compliance with applicable operating procedures. Prohibited use of DIA IT systems will be brought to the attention of the company for which the staff member works and could result in monetary reimbursement to the U.S. Government for time inaccurately billed to DIA for non-contract-related work, and the barring of the identified staff member from access to DIA IT systems, DIA facilities and further performance on the associated contract.
