- This Sources Sought is for informational and planning purposes only. Market research in accordance with FAR Part 10 is being conducted.� This is not a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote, or Invitation for Bid. It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to survey prospective vendors capable of providing preventive maintenance and calibration for the Instron Spring Tester, Model SF602R7969, located at the Corpus Christi Army Depot, Corpus Christi, Texas.� The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, quality control, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform these services at CCAD.� The Instron Spring Tester is used to test pump and motor springs for various aircraft.� See attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) for further requirement details.� � � ��� The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance with a Small Business Size Standard of $11 million.� The Product Service Code (PSC) is J049 � Maint/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment � Maintenance and Repair Shop Equipment. �The Period of Performance is for one (1) base year with two one-year options.� This requirement was previously awarded under contract W912NW19P0031 to Illinois Tool Works, Inc., dba Instron, A Division of Illinois Tool Works (CAGE: 80160), an other than small business.� This contractor possesses proprietary data regarding the Instron Spring Tester and has been the sole provider of services.� Your response to this Sources Sought shall be electronically submitted to the Contract Specialist, Londres Medranda in Microsoft Word, Excel, or Portable Document Format (PDF), via email to londres.e.medranda.civ@army.mil no later than 3:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time (CDT) on 01 July 2022. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly articulate the ability to fulfill this requirement as outlined.
