Description

Presolicitation Notice to award under Solicitation: W81K0222Q0107 Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) (1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Health Contracting Branch, Lacey, WA, intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed price award under solicitation W81K0222Q0107 to Censis Technologies, Inc, in the amount of $203,627.20 for a license subscription renewal B+3 years on their proprietary CensiTrac� Inventory Management software used in management of inventory of instruments and instrument sets that are used in the Operating Room Suite, Bassett Army Community Hospital, FT Wainwright AK. The CensiTrac� system assist in optimizing the use of surgical instrumentation currently in inventory, from the process of sterilization to actual usage in surgical procedures. This proprietary system also provides data to support or disapprove the need for additional costly instrument purchases, which reduces/eliminates the possible lost or misplaced instruments and provides a substantial cost in savings to the Government. In full turnaround process, this system is reported to save an average of 15 minutes per set on an instrument build on average in associated labor cost. This notice is not a request for proposal and a solicitation will not be issued. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability and specifications.
