- This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to award a Firm-Fixed- Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Teledyne Instruments, Inc. Unique Entity ID FNA3YNLZNM43, CAGE Code 5ZSA5, of 49 Edgerton Dr. North Falmouth, MA, 02556-2821. The requirement is for seven (7) Autonomous Underwater Gliding Vehicles (AUGVs). **ITEM 1** Description: Glider System, G3S, Blue Dot Gateway System. MFG: Teledyne Webb Research (TWR) P/N: GLD-0083-D Qty. 7 The Government intends to negotiate solely with Teledyne Instruments, Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.106- 1(b), Only one source capable of meeting the Government's requirement. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR part 12 Acquisition of Commercial items, applies. The applicable NAICS Code is 334511- Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing and the size standard is 1,250 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responsible source believing that it can fulfill the requirement may be considered by the agency. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis, and must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of services provided. Comments, questions or concerns regarding this notice may be submitted via e-mail ONLY to josedejesus.neri.civ@us.navy.mil by 30 June 2022, 12 PM Pacific Time (PT). All responses received by this date may be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
