- Sources Sought Notice Sources Sought Notice Page 5 of 5 Sources Sought Notice *= Required Field Sources Sought Notice Page 1 of 5 The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to determine interest and capability of Other than Small Businesses and Small Businesses, including VIP-Verified Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) prospective vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 339112 (Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing) and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. The Department of Veteran Affairs Clement J. Zabocki located in Milwaukee, WI has the requirement for a Trophon Ultrasound Probe Disinfector. The Government is requesting that Other Than Small Businesses and Small Businesses, including VIP-Verified VOSB or SDVOSB sources respond if it can provide the following products on a Brand Name Only (General Electric): Item Item Number Description Qty Unit 0001 E8350MA Trophon 2 Automated Ultrasound Probe Disinfector 1 EA 0002 E8350PA Trophon Printer 1 EA 0003 E8350MQ Cleaning Wipes, Trophon Companion 1 EA 0004 E8350PB Trophon Printing Labels 1 RL 0005 E8350TA Clean Cover Ultrasound Probe 100/Box 1 BX 0006 E8350MC Trophon Chemical Solution 1 BX 0007 E8350MB Trophon Chemical Indicator 1 BX 0008 E8350MR Drying Wipes, Trophon Companion 1 BX See the following Salient Characteristics listed below: a) Must be able to process GE IC5-9-D probes and Hitachi EUP-V53W probes b) Must process probes without leaving behind any chemical staining or residue of any kind c) Unit must use a hydrogen peroxide based high level disinfectant d) Unit must be small enough to fit on an existing counter-top with limited space e) Dimensions should not exceed 21 high x 14.2 wide x 12.5 deep with a minimum clearance not to exceed 10"" on either side f) The empty weight of the unit should not exceed 50 pounds g) Unit should be able to run on 120VAC, 50/60Hz, with amperage not to exceed 6amps h) Must have a separate external printer for printing processing information i) Must have the ability to test disinfectant efficacy with chemical indicators j) Unit must be able to run independently on electrical power with no plumbed water or waste lines k) Unit must be able to be operated with limited PPE (e.g. gloves masks and face shields - no special PPE required) Interested Other Than Small Businesses and Small Businesses including VIP-Verified VOSBs and SDVOSBs are required to submit an e-mail delineating: Qualifications, capabilities, and experience for providing this product Business size/Socioeconomic status If the product is on the Federal Supply Schedule or the Open Market Manufacture location; and Memo or correspondence which authorizes distributor to distribute the manufacturer s products (if applicable) This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation currently exists. Your responses will be used solely for Market Research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submissions will not be returned to the sender. VOSBs and SDVOSBs must be registered and verified in VIP for set-aside consideration.
