- The United States Coast Guard, Civil Engineering Unit � Providence, has a construction requirement to dredge the boat basin at USCG Station Fire Island.� �� This synopsis is issued in accordance with FAR Parts 14 and 19.� This acquisition is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside.� The applicable NAICS Code is 237990 - Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction - Dredging, with a Small Business Size Standard of $32.5 Million. �The Product Service Code is Z1KF, Maintenance of Dredging Facilities.� ������ The estimated cost range of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.� �� The period of performance is 100 days.� Solicitation packages will be available on or about 6 July 2022.� The tentative date set for bid opening is 9 August 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Bids must be valid for a minimum of 60 days.� All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings may be accessed for download beginning on the date of issue on this website: �http://www.sam.gov� (formerly fbo.gov). �� Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted on this website (sam.gov).� Offerors are required to acknowledge with their bids any and all amendments. To receive immediate notification of all changes posted electronically, vendors should click on [Register to Receive Notification]. All vendors interested in teaming or subcontracting for this solicitation, should click on [Register as Interested Vendor].� In order to view a list of interested vendors, interested parties should click on [View List of Interested Vendors].� A list of interested vendors is only available by registering electronically for this solicitation.� Vendors MUST be registered in the System for Award Management database through www.SAM.gov in order to receive a federal government contract.�� Base Scope of Work Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, and disposal required to perform maintenance dredging at the USCG STA Fire Island Boat Basin using mechanical dredging methods. The total dredge area within the Boat Basin is approximately 62,000 SF (1.4 acres). The proposed dredge depth is El. -10 feet (MLLW) which is consistent with previous dredging at the site.� The proposed dewatering and final disposal site for the dredge material is located on the eastern end of the USCG STA Fire Island property.� Work will be completed at USCG STA Fire Island, Fire Island, NY.
