Angie Carpenter Contracting Officer Page 2 of 2 Bid Opening Instructions For Project: 552-21-104 Renovate Primary Care PACT at the Dayton VAMC Considering recent COVID-19 health concerns and restrictions, the following is provided for your awareness, the safety of other interested bidders, and VA staff: Bidding documents for the subject project will be accepted by mail or in person at 4100 W. Third St; Bldg 128 Engineering Conference Room, Dayton, OH 45428 until (NLT) 1:00 PM EST on 12 July 2022. All bids will be annotated with date/time received whether mailed or hand-delivered. Please ensure tracking information is emailed to the Contracting Officer if/when bids are sent UPS/FedEx/USPS. For documents being hand-delivered, the following procedures will take place: Due to building layout, non-VA personnel are restricted from entering the building. Bids will be accepted by hand between 12:00PM (EST) and 1:00PM (EST) on 12 July 2022 at the door to the conference room by Contracting Personnel one bid at a time to ensure social distancing precautions. Please ensure to arrive early to ensure bids are accepted prior to the deadline. Contractors are reminded of the 6 recommendation and it is highly recommended to wear face shielding/masks when delivering your bid. Contractors do not need to remain in the parking lot after their bid has been accepted but are welcome to call in to listen to the bid opening. A TEAMS Line has been set up for this purpose.
