Description
Pre-Solicitation Notice: Network Contracting Office, NCO17 anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed-Price construction contract for, Replace Elevators P141, P15, P11 and S12, Project No. 671-20-128, Audie L. Murphy VAMC, 7400 Merton Minter, San Antonio, TX 78229 The anticipated method of procurement shall be an Invitation for Bid (IFB) in accordance with the procedures set forth in Parts 14 and 36 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), with an estimated solicitation issue date of July 8, 2022, and a projected bid due date of August 12, 2022. The project is intended to replace elevators into 3 sections of the Audie Murphy Medical Center. The elevator will be completely replaced with new modernize components. Major components include new oil interceptor, HVAC system, and elevator controls. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, tools and equipment, supervision and construction services necessary to replace elevator P14, P15, P11 & S12. All necessary testing and commissioning is required. All work shall be performed during normal hours of operation for the project are 8:00AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday except for Federal Holidays. The Contractor will be required to work on Saturday, Sunday, holidays, or outside the project site s normal working hours for item impacting patient care (i.e., power outages and/or demo placing patients in harm s way, crane). For example, some demolition and major utility disruptions will require non-normal hour work. The contractor will need to submit a written request for approval to the VA-COR at least three (2) working days prior to the proposed start of such work. All work shall be performed in accordance with the SOW, Specifications, and Drawings issues with the solicitation. Project duration shall be 365 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). This requirement is a competitive offer, Set Aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The applicable NAISC code is 238920, $16.5 Mil. The magnitude of the construction estimated cost range: $1,000,000.00 - $2,000,000.00.
