- Description
- The United States Army Contracting Command - Redstone Arsenal (ACC-RSA), Alabama, intends to acquire Post Production Sustainment Services (PPSS) for the Apache AH-64 Helicopter, on an other than full and open competitive basis.� This acquisition is on behalf of the Program Executive Office (PEO) Aviation, for the International Apache Project Manager�s Office (PMO), Foreign Military Sales (FMS) for AH-64 Apache Modernized Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensor (M-TADS/PNVS) systems.� �The ACC-RSA intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a Five-Year, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Single Award Task Order (SATOC) contract to Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, Inc. (LMMFC).� This acquisition is authorized under Title 10 United States Code (U.S.C) 2034( c) (1), as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) and (B) � �Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.� NOTE:� Historically, more than 75 percent of these FMS-PPSS requirements are authorized under Title 10 USC 2034(c)(4), implemented by FAR Part 6.302-4(a)(2) -�International� Agreement.� LMMFC is the incumbent contractor and is the only responsible source, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.� LMMFC was awarded an IDIQ SATOC, for the supplies and services described identified herein, on December 18, 2018, with a performance period of January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2023.� The period of performance for the intended, follow-on award to LMMFC is expected to begin in January 2024 and continue for a period of five years. �Failure to award this contract will prevent the US Government from meeting the obligations of its International Agreements. LMMFC will provide supplies and services to provide PPSS for Apache Foreign Military Sales for the AH-64 Apache Modernized Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensor (M-TADS/PNVS) systems.� This includes labor, materials, equipment, transportation and facilities necessary to provide Fleet Support, Spares, Repair and Replenishment, Contractor Field Service Representative (CFSR) and/or Logistics Support Representative (LSR), Contractor Technical Service Personnel (CTSP), Special Repair Activity (SRA) support, and Training.
