- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for HPE Nimble storage devices.� The compliant product is available solely from HP, as the required materials are only available through the manufacturer and authorized distributers.� The NAICS code is 334519 and the business size is 500 employees. The proposed purchase order is being solicited on a brand name basis.� The proposed action is for HPE storage devices, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one compliant product pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii).� The basis for restricting competition is for the following reasons: the HPE storage system is the only compatible item, with no compatible product on the market.� The NSWCCD intends to award a firm fixed-price purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NSWCCD will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Quoter that submits the Lowest-Priced, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) quote in response to this solicitation that represent the best value to the Government. See 52.212-2- EVALUATION. Questions/clarification regarding this solicitation must be submitted no later than June 23, 2022 at 11:59AM.� All questions will be answered in an amendment to the solicitation.
