Description

The U.S. Army, 413th Contracting Support Brigade, Regional Contracting Office - Hawaii (RCO-HI) intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract to Vision Construction. The proposed contract is in support of U.S. Army Alaska for the purchase of three (3) temporary shelters to store and facilitate life support and operations for approximately 300-600 personnel at Fort Greely, Alaska. Vision construction is uniquely situated with these particular shelters currently being erected on the military installation. Award will be made in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and the procedures at FAR Part 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The purpose of this notice is to satisfy the requirements of FAR subpart 5.2. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all responsible parties may submit a quotation by the closing date of this announcement which shall be considered by the agency. A solicitation may be provided by request. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received is in the sole discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code � 332311 Prefabricated Metal Building and Component Manufacturing with a size standard of 750 employees applies to this announcement. This notice is posted for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all quotes received in writing within the request for quote due date of this notice will be considered by the Government. Responses must be submitted via email to CPT Khalid Salim, Contract Specialist, khalid.t.salim.mil@army.mil and Briana M. Watkins, Contracting Officer, briana.m.watkins.civ@army.mil no later than 15 June 2022 at 4:00 PM HST.
