- FOLS Replace VC Septic Tank and Leach Field The National Park Service requests information from small business vendors registered as small businesses under NAICS 238910 - Site Preparation Contractors, with a size standard of $16.5M or that meets that size standard and can perform the work. Vendors interested in submitting a proposal for this requirement should respond with the information requested below to Contract Specialist, James Bissaillon via email to james_bissaillon@nps.gov, no later than (NLT) 10:00 AM CT on June 21, 2022. All costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the firm. Any information submitted is voluntary. The Contracting Officer will develop an acquisition strategy decision based on the results of this market survey and a future solicitation may be issued as unrestricted without further consideration. The Work consists of the following: Removing the existing septic tank and capping the existing sewer line to the drain field, install a new septic tank, and lift station, directionally drill a new force main from the lift station northwest under the river and access road, install a new drain field northwest of the access road, seed and restore surface following construction. All work will be located at Fort Larned National Historic Site, 1767 KS Hwy 156, Larned, KS 67550. The National Park Service anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price contract. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of construction is: between $250,000 and $500,000. Period of Performance: 90 calendar days from Notice to Proceed, inclusive of 10 bad weather days.
