Description
Statement of Need New/Additional Welch Allyn Connex Vital Sign Machine Model 75CT-B Introduction Request for Quotes Estimated to be solicited on June 14th and closing June 27, 2022 The Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, has determined the need to purchase 219 new Welch Allyn Connex Vital Sign Machines Model 75CT-B along with 219 stands Model 7000-MS3. These units will be used throughout our Medical Service to take patients vital signs. Wilkes Barre VA Medical Center has already purchased Welch Allyn vital sign machines model 75CT-B last year out of necessity due to the pandemic. Since we already purchased WA Connex vital sign monitors, we would need to purchase this same brand name to keep consistency thru our facility, (Brand Name Justification will be attached to the solicitation) so nurses don t have to deal with different machines in different areas. This will cut down on any training required as our nursing staff is already familiar with the WA connex brand monitors model 75CT-B. The need for the quantity of 219 monitors and stands is required because our facility has mostly model number VSM 300, and they have been discontinued in by the manufacture in 2019. The VSM 300 have surpassed their useful life and are being removed from service. The Department of Veterans Affairs Wilkes-Barre VA Health Care System requires 219 replacement vital sign monitors and mobile stands to replace our current units (model 300) which have exceeded their end-of-life cycle by 3 years. Requirements: Vital signs machine that takes Blood pressure, heart rate, pulse oximetry, temperature, and respirations Salient Characteristics: SureBP Technology (with BP Averaging Protocols) Interval Monitoring SureTemp Plus Thermometry Braun PRO 6000 Ear Thermometry Masimo RRp (Respiration Rate) Masimo Pulse Oximetry (SpO2) Nellcor Pulse Oximetry (SpO2) Nonin Pulse Oximetry (SpO2) USB Ethernet Bluetooth SECA Health o meter Detector 2 Year out of box warranty and preventative maintenance service program Must meet all VA safety requirements Delivery: Delivery accepted at VAMC Wilkes Barre, Warehouse, 1111 East End Blvd, Wilkes Barre, PA 18711; Weekdays 8:00am 4:00pm, excluding any government holidays. Must go to loading dock/warehouse first prior to coming to 4e/5e to be assessed and checked.
