Description: This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE for the titled project ï¿½AFLCMC WAG B9201 Renovationï¿½ located at Tinker Air Force Base Oklahoma.ï¿½ THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. ï¿½No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this pre-solicitation notice or any follow up postings. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers ï¿½ Tulsa has been tasked to solicit for and award a contract for the construction of a fully-designed renovation project that is located within Building 9201 at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma.ï¿½ The proposed project will be a competitive, firm-fixed price contract procured in accordance with FAR 15, Negotiated Procurement, using the trade-off process.ï¿½ This will be a small business set aside competitive procurement that will result on the award of one (1) Firm-Fixed Price, ï¿½Cï¿½ Type contract.ï¿½ Project Description: This project will be a single-phase design-bid-built project for Building 9201 at Tinker AFB, OK. Building 9201 was constructed in 1999 and is the former General Motorsï¿½ vehicle paint facility that is a multi-level structure that is approximately 835,000 square feet.ï¿½ Within Building 9201 is where the approximate 35,000 square footage ICD705-compliant LCMC facility is to be constructed.ï¿½ This project is for the construction of a facility that includes offices, conference rooms, entry way, visitor control, restrooms, conference rooms, open office space and cubicles, break room, mechanical room, electrical room, communications room, sidewalks, general common areas and circulation space. ï¿½ï¿½This project also includes structural, mechanical, electrical, and fire suppression upgrades; in addition to demolition of abandoned General Motors paint equipment and its supporting equipment and structures. Estimated duration of the construction phase of this project is 545 calendar days. In accordance with DFARS 236.204, the estimated magnitude of construction for this project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System code for this procurement is 236220, ï¿½Commercial and Institutional Building Constructionï¿½, which has a small business size standard of $39.5M.ï¿½ This project will be solicited as a Small Business acquisition.ï¿½ Small Businesses are reminded under FAR 52.219-14, (Deviation 2019-O0003), Limitations on Subcontracting that a firm will not pay more than 85% of the amount paid by the Government for contract performance, excluding the cost of materials, to subcontractors that are not similarly situated entities. Any work that a similarly situated entity further subcontracts will count toward the 85% subcontract amount that cannot be exceeded. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:ï¿½ Specific information pertaining to this procurement will be available in the solicitation. The solicitation documents will be posted on the SAM.gov website. It is, and will continue to be, the responsibility of all potential Offerors to monitor the SAM.gov website for any amendments, updates, responses to industry questions/comments, etc. The Government will not be maintaining a mailing list. The anticipated solicitation issuance date will be on or about 24 June 2022, and the estimated due date for proposals will be on or about 25 July 2022. This is a 15-day pre-solicitation notice provided for informational purposes only. This is not a solicitation for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this notice/synopsis, therefore no response is required at this time. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice, nor will the Government accept proposals as a result of this notice.
