Monique Paltan Contracting Officer CONTINUATION PAGE SOLICITATION 36C24222Q0564 QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS Question 1: How many hours is the pest company expected to be onsite each of the 3 service days at Castle Point Campus per week? Answer: In an 8-hour day, it will depend on how long vendor takes in providing the services stated in the Performance Work Statement. Question 2: How many hours is the pest company expected to be onsite each of the service days at Montrose Campus per week? Answer: In an 8-hour day, it will depend on how long vendor takes in providing the services stated in the Performance Work Statement. Question 3: Are the company s pest technicians escorted at all times when on site or are the company s technicians given the ability to work independently to work on issues? Answer: They are escorted. Question 4: Is the equipment onsite owned by the customer or the current vendor and will the equipment currently on site be available for the new vendor to use as part of the new IPM pest control service? Answer: The equipment is owned by the current vendor. Equipment currently on site will not be available for the new vendor to use. Question 5: We do not know how much equipment may be present in these buildings and is usable and we did not get to see the full number of buildings that will require service. How do assess and charge for the costs of equipment (e.g., Ketch-all mouse traps, bait stations, and insect light traps) that are not currently onsite but will be needed to provide pest control services to stop and prevent issues? Answer: Refer to the Performance Work Statement, Campus Maps and individual building coverage areas included in the Solicitation. Question 6: Insect light traps require new Light bulbs each year and are a specific charge for the replacement and recycling of the bulbs- how do we reflect this cost in the proposal when we don t know how many light traps are onsite at each campus? Answer: Refer to the Performance Work Statement, section 4 Exterior and Interior Fly Lights Program. Question 7: What does bird control mean and how can that be priced in the quote? Does it mean catching individual birds that may enter buildings or bigger problems that may require specific site visits and incur separate costs for installations? Answer: The followings CLINs 0006, 1006, 2006, 3006, 4006 and 5006 have been set for pest birds. There will be no separate charges for these services. It is up to vendor to decide how to handle pest birds in a non-lethal method of control and removal for both campuses.
