Description

Yellow Ribbon and Family Support / Family Programs of the Ohio National Guard (ONG) and Ohio Military Kids (OMK) requests a firm-fixed-price contract with The Ohio State University (OSU). OSU will provide Youth and Family Programs to support an environment for youth and teens to build new skills and positive relationships. This is accomplished through various events with curriculum created and provided by OSU. Since 2005 the Ohio National Guard Youth Programs has engaged in collaborative efforts with a youth development program in Ohio. This collective effort has bolstered quality and quantity of programs offered to the Military Families of Ohio. Contracting services with an entity that brings a long-standing reputation of quality programs and access to the time-tested values of Youth Development program is a logical move. This intentional collaboration of talents will continue the intent of leadership to support Ohio�s Service Members and their Families with the world class programming they have come to know and expect. During the partnership with The Ohio State University Extension and 4-H it was obvious that the organization operated in a way that aligned with the Mission and Goals of the Ohio National Guard Youth Programs.
