Description: Market research was conducted via online and through numerous discussions with the ACGME Program Administrator to validate the fact that ACGME is the only accreditation organization for ACGME programs that is recognized by MEDCOM. The student will be utilizing a database to track their progression during the course for accreditation. Accreditation Council of Graduate Education (ACGME) is still the only available source of accrediting MEDCOM physician residency programs. A Special Notice of intent to sole source was issued . This requirement will be a sole source to Accreditation Council of Graduate Education (ACGME).
