- Description
- The Lexington VA Medical Center(s), by way of the Network Contracting Office (NCO) 9, has a requirement for a contractor to provide veterans within the service area with cardiology and other related medical services. The successful contractor shall provide looping cardiac event recording services provided by qualified personnel. The contractor s care shall cover the ranges of services normally provided in a similar civilian healthcare facility for patients of the medical center. The contractor s personnel shall be of a quality meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards as established by the Department of Veteran Affairs and other regulatory agencies. The contractor shall maintain compliance with established regulatory requirements. The contractor shall provide the facility, staffing, equipment, and supplies required to perform all requested external cardiac monitoring services in accordance with the terms of the contract. The contractor shall be responsible for all contractor personnel, subcontractors, agents, and anyone acting for or on behalf of the contractor. The services provided under this contract are not to be performed outside the United States. Malpractice coverage is to be provided for as well as General Liability coverage. The full description of the requirement to be provided at the time of the solicitation release, on or around June 29, 2022. This is NOT a formal Request for Proposal. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is for Market Research purposes only to ascertain if there exist a sufficient number of qualified contractors/vendors to provide the services, as well as the entity type (i.e., SDVOSB, VOSB, Small Businesses, WOSB, HUBZone. Responses to this notice will be used to determine the acquisition strategy. NAICS Code 621999 is applicable to this requirement. The small business size standard is $18.0M. The product service code (PSC) is Q999. This requirement will be procured under the authority of U.S.C 38 ยง 8153, as implemented by way of VA Directive 1663 and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). In order to be eligible to submit a quote on this requirement, interested parties must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM). Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB)and Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) must also have a verified status in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) and have an active enrollment with the VETS 4212 with the Department of Labor (DOL).
