- This Sources Sought is not a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote, or Invitation for Bid. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make awards, or pay for respondent's expenditures made in response to this notice. �Interested vendors are responsible for monitoring this notice for any subsequent amendments. All submissions become government property and will not be returned.� Any solicitation issued as a result of this notice will be in a separate announcement. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District (CENAB), Washington Aqueduct Division (WAD), is contemplating the procurement of a new contract for the installation of two (2) new ChemScan UV 2250/S units and the repair of two (2) existing ChemScan UV 2150/S units. Commissioning, startup, calibration, and operation and startup training shall be performed for the two (2) new ChemScan UV 2250/S units. The two (2) existing ChemScan UV 2150/S units shall also be calibrated as part of the repair. Note that the installation and repair shall be accomplished within the same visit. WAD provides potable water to approximately one million people in the District of Columbia and Northern Virginia.� As part of the water treatment and supply system, WAD maintains and operates the Dalecarlia Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and McMillan WTP. Additional details for each specific location are below. Dalecarlia WTP: Install a new UV 2250/S (plug option and CIM option for EIE) in the Dalecarlia Pumping Station next to the existing UV 2150/S. Investigate the issues with the existing ChemScan UV 2150/S, and provide a report with the cost for all the parts that are required to be removed and replaced to bring the ChemScan into operation. The repair shall not proceed until the Government has approved of the report. McMillan WTP: Investigate the issues with the existing ChemScan UV 2150/S, and provide a report with the cost for all the parts that are required to be removed and replaced to bring the ChemScan into operation. The repair shall not proceed until the Government has approved of the report. Bryant St. Pumping Station: Remove the existing UV 2150/S and install a new UV 2250/S in its place. Vendors interested in the potential procurement shall submit a brief capabilities statement in one PDF file, no longer than 12 pages.� The capabilities statement shall include: 1.� Company name, address, point of contact phone number and e-mail address, and CAGE code. 2.� Business size in relation to NAICS 334513. 3. Experience with installing as well as repairing ChemScan analyzers. 4.
