Description
The National Park Service (NPS) has issued Amendment No. 1 to the Request for Proposals (RFP) for award of a lease for the Cottonwood Cove Resort and Marina located on Lake Mohave within Lake Mead National Recreation Area.�This Lease opportunity provides a prospective operator with a chance to deliver a high-quality, full-service marina experience to its guests in a truly one-of-a-kind location. Facilities and services at Cottonwood Cove Resort and Marina include boat moorage, boat rentals, marina services, land/water-based fuel sales, lodging, food and beverage operations, retail sales, a trailer village, and Recreational Vehicle (RV) sites. This Amendment No. 1 updates the site visit section of the RFP, as follows: there is no longer a limitation on the number of participants for each organization for the site visit interested parties must RSVP for the site visit no later than 4:00 p.m. on June 15, 2022 All other requirements of the site visit detalied in the RFP remain the same. The RFP is available on the Lake Mead National Recreation Area webpage under ""Get Involved"" and ""Do Business with Us"" (link provided below). Any questions regarding the lease opportunity at Lake Mead National Recreation Area must be received in writing no later than 4:00 pm (Pacific Time) on June 29, 2022 to Kristen Jontos (at the email below). Any interested party intending to submit a proposal�MUST submit a Notice of Intent to Submit�as described in the RFP no later than August 9, 2022. The NPS is only accepting electronic submissions in response to the RFP; therefore, all proposals must be submitted electronically following the instructions in the RFP. Proposals are due no later than 4:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) on September 20, 2022. Interested parties should notify Kristen Jontos, Commercial Services Specialist, National Park Service, Interior Regions 8, 9, 10, and 12 via email at kristen_jontos@nps.gov if you have received a copy of the RFP and want to be notified of future modifications or other correspondence, to RSVP for the site visit, when submitting all questions regarding the RFP, and when submitting its Notice of Intent to Submit.
