- Description
- Pursuant to FAR 13.501, the Department of Commerce (DOC)/Enterprise Services intends to negotiate a sole source, firm fixed price contract with The International Trade Administration (ITA), Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary (ODAS) for Trade Policy and Analysis (TP&A) provides industry and policy decision makers with information on the impacts of economic and regulatory policies on U.S. manufacturing and services industries, as well as provides a solid foundation of trade and industry data to support the development of national trade policies. TP&A performs in-depth industry analysis on the effects of both domestic and foreign policy developments on U.S. business competitiveness. The core projects of interest here are benchmarking the environment facing U.S. industry, analyzing regulatory reform outcomes, and assessing foreign investments in the United States. TP&A publishes research papers that analyze global competitiveness, employment, and the environment. As concerns about the supply chains have become a priority of the administration, TP&A has been conducting various analysis related to trade and investment, especially that of China. This statement of work is to renew a database that provides details at each step of products supply chains, including ownership over production facilities of critical materials like steel. The estimated price of $576,910.00. The intent of this notice is not to request competitive proposals, and any information received from interested parties will only be considered solely for determining whether a competitive procurement should be conducted. However, interested parties may submit a description of their firm's capabilities for satisfying this requirement, which demonstrates they possess the ability to successfully perform this effort. The responses must be received no later than June 23,2022 at 12pm EST. All questions concerning this matter should be addressed directly to Sharvell Davis via email at sdavis2@doc.gov.
