Description

The Starbase program is a follow on to contract W9124M20C0009 which provided Starbase support to Hunter Army Airfield (HAAF), Ga. The HAAF Garrison is the customer for this requirement. Under this requirement, the Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, personnel, management, administrative support, materials, supplies and equipment (except as noted in the Performance Work Statement (PWS)) to operate the Starbase Program at HAAF. Title 10, U.S.C. section 2913b(c) directs the Secretary of Defense to provide for the establishment of the Starbase program. The goal of the program is to raise the interest and improve the knowledge and skills of at-risk youth in the areas of mathematics, science and technology by exposing them to the technological environment and positive role models that are found on military bases and installations. �
