- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION 120/130 Pound Washer Extractor This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document is attached. The solicitation is being issued under the authority of FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ); 36L79722Q0012. Pursuant to 38 U.S. Code 8127, the RFQ will be issued as a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. Quotes are being solicited only from VIP-listed SDVOSBs. Quotes received from entities that are not VIP-listed SDVOSBs at the time of the offer due date will not be considered. The Department of Veterans Affairs will award one contract to the responsible quoter who is able to meet the requirements as outlined below (description to supply, meet the delivery timeframe and meet the technical specifications): Furnish and install one (1), 120/130 pound washer extractor. The washer extractor shall be delivered within 120 days after the effective date. Installation of the washer extractor shall take place no more than 33 days after the delivery date. The two (2) days onsite shakedown and one (1) day onsite training is included in the installation timeframe. Training shall consist of two (2) hours for Line Item 0001 for both operator and maintenance personnel at a minimum; training shall not be conducted concurrently.
