- **** 7 JUN 22:: The purpose of this notice is to REVISE this notice to alert all interested parties that the IFB will be issued at the Government Point of Entry known as the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE).� No solicitation will be posted to SAM.gov.� Review the REVISED Presolicitation Notice guidance below. **** This is the REVISED Presolicitation Notice for the�Folsom Dam Bulkhead Gate Corrosion Repair�project. The Government anticipates issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) solicitation with the intent of awarding a Firm-Fixed Price construction contract for Folsom Dam Bulkhead Gate Corrosion Repair. Project Description: The purpose of this construction contract is to replace corroded components on the load block assemblies of all six (6) bulkhead gates at the Folsom Dam Auxiliary Spillway.� The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, management, equipment, transportation, subcontractor services, testing and commissioning, and all other necessary resources to perform the work consisting of: enlarging the inside diameter of the stainless steel sheaves, process passivate the stainless steel sheaves to remove carbon contamination, put cathodic protection on the load block plates using galvanic anodes, remove corrosion from the load block plates, enlarge the diameters of the holes for the sheave shaft in the load block plate, then touch up paint the load block plates, replace old Stainless-Steel sheave shaft with a new slightly enlarged one, replace the steel roller bearing with a self-lubricated bushing. Replace bolts and ancillary components related to bolts with stainless steel equivalents.� There are 6 Hoists, each with 2 Load Block Assemblies, for a total of 12 Load Block Assemblies. In accordance with FAR 36.204(f) the estimated magnitude of construction is expected to be between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. This prospective contract action will be conducted using NAICS Code is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The size standard is $39.5M.� Product Service Code is Z2KA Repair or Alteration of Dams. The solicitation will proceed as a 100% Small Business Set-aside and is estimated to be issued on or about 10 Jun 2022 with bids due tentatively on 11 Jul 2022.� The IFB will be issued on the Government Point of Entry known as the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), and will establish a firm bid due date/time. The site visit date, time and location will be identified in the solicitation; please carefully review the solicitation site visit clause 52.236-27, and the attendance requirements documents posted with the solicitation. BE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELLED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE PRE-SOLICITATION, SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, NEGOTIATION AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS.
