CGC BERTHOLF ALAMEDA, CA The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Centers, National Security Cutters Branch 2, Alameda, CA anticipates awarding this procurement to CATERPILLAR as the Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, i.e. unique capabilities, Limited number of sources, Proprietary data or Brand Name Mandatory because patent rights, copyrights, proprietary secret processes, control of certain materials or components providing a superior utility or capability that cannot be obtained from similar products. PARTS: QTY 4 EA, 136-9486, LINER QTY 4 EA, 136-9487, COLLAR QTY 1 EA, 213-0300, FRAME REAR QTY 70 EA, 149-2209, SEAL QTY 4 EA, 151-5257, SEAL This procurement will be made on behalf of the USCGC BERTHOLF. �Vendor will provide the part/service stated in the scope of work. �NAICS Code # 336611 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before Midnight of 12JUN2022�will be reviewed by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. This will be awarded via Sole Source, to CATERPILLAR. and this posting id is for informational purposes only. However if you feel this is not a sole source, please reach out to the contact listed. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
