Description

Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.5, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to issue a sole source BPA HM0476-22-A-0003 with Bloomberg to providing a Bloomberg Terminal Anywhere Licenses (user access services) and Bloomberg Enterprise Data services The period of performance for this requirement is 12-month base and 4 twelve-month options which will start on June 30, 2022. �This contract allows for the ability to monitor and analyze real-time financial market data over a global secure network. Bloomberg, Inc generates and maintains proprietary and unique financial data, analysis, and licensed services and provides access via �Bloomberg Terminals,� also described as �Bloomberg Terminal Anywhere License,� �Bloomberg licenses,� �Bloomberg Log-ins/User Access,� and �Bloomberg Subscriptions.� In addition, NGA seeks to acquire Bloomberg Enterprise Data services. NGA intends to award a sole source firm fixed contract using simplified acquisition procedures for certain commercial items without seeking competition for Bloomberg Inc.� This notice of intent is being published in accordance with FAR 5.2 requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is 41 U.S.C. 1903 as implemented by FAR Part 13.5. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability in response to the requirement. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will issue a Justification and Approval (J&A) to support the need for a sole source award. �The J&A will be posted to GPE website http://www.beta.SAM.gov 14 days after award of the modification.
