- The Naval Undergraduate Flight Training Systems, PMA-273 located at Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD is releasing a request for information to identify commercial sources who can perform structural modification to the T-45 Goshawk wings.� The Government is considering the benefits of having additional sources to perform the defined work within the Technical Directives (TDs). To access the TDs, the interested business must submit their request for these files by email to the Contract Specialist listed below. In response to this sources sought notice, please provide the Government with a capabilities statement package that includes the following: Description of the current skillset employed to perform this work Past experience in performing similar work Current capacity to perform this work Location/Facility work would be performed This is a Request for Information (RFI) and is not a solicitation for proposals. The purpose of this announcement is for informational purposes only and is issued in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 15.201(e). No reimbursement shall be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow up information requests. Nothing shall be construed herein or through this RFI process, which commits or obligates the Government to further action as a result of this request. Interested businesses shall submit responses by email to the Contract Specialist, Jacob Heintze (jacob.r.heintze.civ@us.navy.mil).� The response package shall be no more than Ten (10) single-sided 8.5 X 11 inch pages, with font no smaller than 10 point. In addition, the package shall demonstrate the company�s ability to perform the requirement as listed above and within the Technical Directives.� All responses shall include the Company Name, Company Address, Current Small Business Status, CAGE Code, DUNS number, NAICS code(s) and at least two Points-of-Contact (POC) including name, phone number and email address. Classified material SHALL NOT be submitted. All proprietary or corporate data received shall be clearly identified and will be protected from release to sources outside the Government.� One electronically submitted response shall be received no later than 14 June 2022 by 4:00pm (EDT) and reference: PMA-273 SLEP Wing Request for Information. Responses to this request may not be returned. The Government is under no obligation to consider information received after the required due date.
