Description
The purpose of this notice is to seek feedback from industry to assist with planning/preparation for the Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 Advance Planning Briefing(s) to Industry (APBI Events).� To capture your feedback, the MICC Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) has developed a short survey that will take less than 5 minutes to complete.� The survey can be accessed by clicking the following link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdfgwBlkoa9WJ4_kQ7h3Xu3LPGwqga726yDeQSWeWTUDiV4fg/viewform?usp=sf_link� �� The deadline to submit responses to the survey is 9 June 2022, 4:00 PM CDT. The MICC OSBP is considering several courses of action (COAs) for future APBI events and the responses to this survey will greatly influence our decision.� MICC thanks you in advance for your participation.� In the event your business is not familiar with the MICC or did not have an opportunity to attend our FY 2022 APBI event, the rest of this notice provides additional information on our command as well as direct links to our FY 2022 APBI event documents. About the MICC Headquartered at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, Texas, the MICC is a one-star command made up of about 1,300 Soldiers and civilian employees assigned to two contracting support brigades, two field directorate offices, 28 contracting offices and nine battalions that provide contracting support to the Army enterprise. The MICC�s primary supported activities include the U.S. Army Installation Management Command, U.S. Army Forces Command, U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, U.S. Army North, U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command, U.S. Army Reserve Command, U.S. Army Military District of Washington, U.S. Army Medical Command, U.S. Army Futures Command and United States Military Academy at West Point. As part of its�mission, MICC contracts are vital in feeding more than 200,000 Soldiers every day, providing many daily base operations support services at installations, facilitate training in the preparation of more than 100,000 conventional force members annually, training more than 500,000 students each year, and maintaining more than 14.4 million acres of land and 170,000 structures.� Additional facts about the MICC can be accessed at https://www.army.mil/micc#org-about FY 2022 APBI Information The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) hosted its Second Annual command-wide virtual Advance Planning Briefing for Industry (APBI) on March 7-10 2022. This event focused on educating Industry on the MICC and its Mission Partners and providing a comprehensive overview of projected MICC requirements.
