Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. The Regional Health Contracting Office - Central (RHCO-C), Fort Hood Health Contracting Branch (FHHCB), Fort Hood, Texas intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Digi SmartSense, LLC, 9350 Excelsior Blvd. Suite 700, Hopkins NM 55343, under the authority 41 U.S.C. 1901, IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) Only one source is reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization. The requirement is for the procurement purchase of temperature monitoring subscription for Government-Owned Digi SmartSense, LLC�s Temperature Sensitive Monitoring System installed at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center (CRDAMC), Fort Hood, Texas 76544. Award will be on or about 6 June 2022.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334111, Electronic Computer Manufacturing. The tentative period of performance 6 June 2022 � 6 June 2023 with four (4) Option periods. The Small Business Size Standard is 1,250 personnel. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for a temperature monitoring subscription for Digi SmartSense, LLC�s Temperature Sensitive Monitoring System. The Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available. A solicitation will not be published.
