Description
**AMENDMENT DATED 5.31.2022 INCLUDES:** - Q&A DOCUMENT -FIPS - 199 - Low Control Implementation Summary Document - DATE CHANGE The United States General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS) issues this public announcement seeking interested Workspace App Vendors (Vendors) qualified to participate in the Center for Workplace Strategys Workplace Innovation Lab initiative. Participating Vendors shall enter into a bailment agreement (reference attachment A) to supply a digital Workspace App, integration services and ongoing support, to GSA for a period not to exceed 12 months. All interested Vendors shall submit software specifications, network requirements, and any materials that demonstrate their ability to integrate workspace reservations (booking), resource location, digital wayfinding, occupancy tracking, usage reports, and more to provide a comprehensive digital experience for end users. Background: GSA is testing an agile, Workplace Innovation Lab (WIL) located within GSA's Central Office (1800F) at 1800 F Street, NW, Washington, D.C. Federal tenants across the government, but most frequently, tenants within the National Capital Region (NCR), will have the opportunity to utilize the space and to test innovative ways of working. Federal occupancy of the WIL space is anticipated to begin in July 2022. The WIL will embody cutting edge design and innovative environments to experiment on a range of alternative workplace solutions and technologies for the future. The WIL will provide opportunities for federal agencies to test out federally operated coworking. The WIL space and end user feedback will assist GSA in the development of future specifications and standards. A key component of the WIL environment will be the use of technology solutions, such as a singular reservation solution that is accessible to registered federal users across the government. The selected Vendor is encouraged to use this WIL workspace app to demo a full range of functionalities and may use this App to beta test emerging functionalities that are still in prototype mode. End users in the GSA WIL space will be encouraged to respond to periodic surveys which detail their individual experience of utilizing the space. This real-time, end-user feedback is instrumental to the success of the WIL testing environment. Any collected data will be used by the GSA WIL team and the Workspace App Vendor for research and reference. Collected data may not be shared. Project Description: The WIL will be divided into at least six different neighborhoods, across the 2nd floor at 1800F. The total size of the WIL is expected to be approximately 25,000 usable square feet. The vendor will need to provide a workspace app that will serve only the end users in the 25,000 usf WIL space, however, the number of registered users having access to the Workspace App may be very large, as the WIL will be available to single-use federal guests and recurrent federal users. At GSAs discretion, the Vendor will have access to the WIL for tours, photography, videography and informational signage. A GSA Source Selection Panel will review vendor proposals and will recommend entering into a bailment agreement with the Vendor offering the most useful product for the governments testing needs. Highest consideration will be given to Vendors offering an innovative workspace app that offers the most functional integration with a variety of solutions and the ability to integrate with other software in order to provide the most comprehensive Workspace App that includes functionality to offer reservations, usage reports, service requests, sensor data integration, wayfinding, news/info, surveys/polling, and more.
