- This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.203 in response to the mandatory requirement for a 10 day notification. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the US State Department's intent to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price sole source purchase order with�Grupo Vision Inversiones Guatemaltecas SA located at 18 Calle 24-69 Zona 10 Centra Empresar; Guatemala�for the purpose of providing maitenance on the�Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS).�The Government intends to purchase the following units and quantities: One Year of Preventive Maintenance and Remote and On-Site support program for Government of Guatemala�s AFIS system, including: �BACKEND EQUIPMENT OF AFIS SYSTEM IN PNC �located at PNC�s headquarters in Guatemala City, Guatemala. 10 AFIS workstations (5 desktop workstations, 5 portable workstations), �AFIS EQUIPMENT IN 24 HOURS COURTS, GABINETE CRIMINALISTICO AND INACIF�. 30 AFIS Workstation (22 desktop Workstation, 8 portable Workstation), �AFIS EQUIPMENT INSTALLED IN DEPARTMENTS OF GUATEMALA AND PUBLIC MINISTERY� and �8 PORTABLE STATIONS FOR ENROLLED FINGERPRINTS IN GABINETE CRIMINALISTICO- GACRI � and �EQUIPMENT Y PENITENTIARY SYSTEM� 3rd-Level support for backend system from AFIS manufacturer (Gemalto/Thales), including any license fees. One Year of corrective maintenance and on-site repair program for hardware and base software of Government of Guatemala�s AFIS system, including: Hardware and base software of BACKEND EQUIPMENT OF AFIS SYSTEM IN PNC �, located at PNC�s headquarters in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Hardware and base software of 10 AFIS workstations (5 desktop workstations, 5 portable workstations), �AFIS EQUIPMENT IN 24 HOURS COURTS, GABINETE CRIMINALISTICO AND INACIF�. Hardware and base software of 30 AFIS Workstations (22 desktop Workstations, 8 portable Workstations), �AFIS EQUIPMENT INSTALLED IN DEPARTMENTS OF GUATEMALA AND PUBLIC MINISTERY� and � 8 PORTABLE STATIONS FOR ENROLLED FINGERPRINTS IN GABINETE CRIMINALISTICO- GACRI � and �EQUIPMENT Y PENITENTIARY SYSTEM� Implementation of a new software for enrollment solution, including: Installation and configuration of the Software in BACKEND EQUIPMENT OF AFIS SYSTEM IN PNC �, (Server Hardware and Software), to be located at PNC�s headquarters in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Provision of new Software workstation licenses for 10 AFIS workstations (5 desktop workstations, 5 portable workstations), �AFIS EQUIPMENT IN 24 HOURS COURTS, GABINETE CRIMINALISTICO AND INACIF Provision of a new Software Workstation licenses for 30 AFIS workstations (22 desktop workstations, 8 portable workstations), �EQUIPO AFIS FASE II INSTALADO EN DEPARTAMENTOS A NIVEL NACIONAL Y FEMICIDIOS MP and �8 PORTABLE STATIONS FOR ENROLLED FINGERPRINTS IN GABINETE CRIMINALISTICO- GACRI � � Integration of current AFIS system backend with the new software, including installation and configuration of AFIS Webservices, creation and adjustment of business rules, and automated AFIS response. AFIS interconnection between National Police of Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras will require the following equipment: PowerEdge R640 Server (1) 2.5� Chassis with up to 8 Hard Drives and 3PCIe slots (1) Intel� Xeon� Silver 4214 2.2G, 12C/24T, 9.6GT/s, 16.5M Cache, Turbo, HT (85W) DDR4-2400 (1) 32GB RDIMM, 3200MT/s, Dual Rank (2) PERC H730P RAID Controller, 2GB NV Cache, Minicard (1) �1.9TB SSD SATA Mix Use 6Gbps 512 2.5in Hotplug AG Drive, 3 DWPD, 10512 TBW (2) Broadcom 5720 QP 1Gb Network Daughter Card (1) Dual, Hot-plug, Redundant Power Supply (1+1), 750W (1) Windows Server� 2019 Standard (1) (3) years of ProSupport Plus Mission Critical 4Hr Onsite Service (5) days training for up to four people, aimed at the staff system administrator who will responsible for: Use of the new software Manage related computing services with the AFIS system Assign the privileges required by authorized users to carry out any type or operation supporting of the system��������� Assigning and distribute system users work. Monitor the use and performance of the system. Make reports to fulfill the supervision requirements of the users and system resources. Interacting with developers of applications for enrollment and issuance of identity documents and/or third parties The Government intends to negotiate solely with Grupo Vision Inversiones Guatemaltecas SA as per FAR�Subpart 6.302-1 � Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.�The NAICS code for this acquisition is 561621. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations. However, responses received by 6 June 2022 5:00 PM Eastern Time will be considered.
