- SPECIAL NOTICE � Notice of Intent to Sole Source General Information Contract Opportunity Type: Special Notice (Original) All Dates/Times are: �EASTERN STANDARD TIME, Alexandria, VA, USA Original Published Date: May 27,�2022 Original Response Date: May 31, 2022 Inactive Policy: 4 days after response date Notice ID Related Notice Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Sub Tier: �Department of Defense Inspector General (DoDIG) Classification Product Service Code: U005 - EDUCATION/TRAINING-TUITION/REGISTRATION/MEMBERSHIP FEES NAICS Code: 813920 - Professional Organizations Place of Performance: USA Description The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Procurement Division on behalf of the Department of Defense Inspector General (DoDIG) intends to award to the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) on a Sole Source basis for Global Anti-Fraud conference registration fees for 49 DoDIG�participants. The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) is the world's largest anti-fraud organization and premier provider and authoritative source of anti-fraud training and education.� The conference joins more than 5,000 anti-fraud professionals gathering in one centralized location (United States-Nashville) and online.� This conference is the world's largest conference for fraud fighers and is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.� The ACFE is regarded as the foremost authority in the global fight against fraud.� The annual conference provides more than 100 anti-fraud educational sessions for DoDIG personnel to choose from along with high caliber speakers in this specialized field at one location.� Education session tracks provide excellent training to improve participants' ability to detect and deter fraud, which provides significant organizational benefit and aligns with DoDIG's anti-fraud mission objectives.� The ACFE is the host organization for the 33rd Annual ACFE Global Fraud Conference scheduled June 19-24, 2022.� As the host organization, it is the only company that can provide registration to attend this conference.� This conference qualifies for up to 30 CPE credits and provides DoDIG's Certified Fraud Examiners and Auditors the key and essential training to meet their continuing education requirements.� The ACFE Annual Global Fraud Conference is offered only by the ACFE and provided only one-time per year. DoDEA Procurement will consider affirmative responses received no later than May 31, 2022 at 11:00 am EST.� Offerors shall respond to this notice if they believe they can provide the DoDIG the same services and essential training as mentioned above.� Responses shall include the name and point of contact infromation for its company along with a description of the services.� Responses must be supported with detailed and convincing evidence that clearly articulates the company's ability to satisfy this requirement as outlined above. No solicitation package will be issued.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. Responses shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer, G. Hendricksen at Georgette.Hendricksen@DODEA.EDU�� A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will be treated as market research and considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for this or similar requirements in the future. If no responses are received within four (4) calendar days after publication of this notice, to demonstrate comparable capability and scope, then a sole source acquisition award shall be made.
