Description

The Commander, Navy Mid-Atlantic Region (CNRMA), is seeking information and feedback from the private sector on a new Future Base Design real estate concept.� Under this concept, the Navy would lease, pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2667, multiple underutilized parcels of property to an entity for compatible commercial real estate development in return for in-kind consideration no less than the Fair Market Value of the leasehold interest.� The Navy hopes to maximize the economic potential of this leasing action in order to receive maximum consideration for the leasehold interest.� This RFI is to help the Navy determine if the potential leasing approach is a viable concept to industry and one in which both the developer and the Navy can mutually benefit.� This RFI seeks input, analysis, and suggestions on the concept and viability of a single lessee master developer (MDL) who can utilize multiple parcels for commercial development while working in a collaborative relationship with the Navy.�� Specific concepts and ideas for which the Navy would like Industry feedback are included at the end of this RFI.��
