- Questions and Answers Question: Estimated hours per week? -- how often (ie. days per week) and how long per Training Program (hours per session)? Answer: The solicitation is structured around a Performance Work Statement (PWS). Vendors shall state their own time-line on how they will develop or implement a wellness program. Question: The contractor shall provide Consultation and guidance at VISN8-led Advanced Training Programs - Estimated hours per week? -- how often (ie. days per week) and how long per Training Program (hours per session)? Answer: The solicitation is structured around a Performance Work Statement (PWS). Vendors shall state their own time-line on how they will develop or implement a wellness program. Question: The contractor shall provide facilitation for a 4-session group to prepare candidates for Center for Mind Body Medicine certification - Estimated hours per week? -- how often (ie. days per week) and how long per group session (hours per session)? Answer: The solicitation is structured around a Performance Work Statement (PWS). Vendors shall state their own time-line on how they will develop or implement a wellness program. Question: The contractor shall provide support of Certification process for appropriately trained and prepared employees - Estimated hours per week? What days require this support and for what hours (ie. Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm) Answer: The solicitation is structured around a Performance Work Statement (PWS). Vendors shall state their own time-line on how they will develop or implement a wellness program. Please provide your information on what will it take achieve your firm s wellness certification process. Question: The contractor shall provide mentorship training and support, including clinical supervision, mentorship, and monitoring - Estimated hours per week? What days require this support and for what hours (ie. Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm) Answer: The solicitation is structured around a Performance Work Statement (PWS). Vendors shall state their own time-line on how they will develop or implement a wellness program. Question: The contractor shall provide general consultation services - Estimated hours per week? Answer: The solicitation is structured around a Performance Work Statement (PWS). Vendors are allowed to state their own time-line on how they will develop or implement a wellness program. Please state the number of hours it will take to achieve a customized wellness program that will be offered to VISN 8. Question: Are you looking for a contractor to facilitate their existing program, or to create a new one? Answer: The Center for Mind Body Medicine is the incumbent. The VA is seeking a firm to create or continue a wellness curriculum aligned with VHA Directive 1137 (2), The Provision of Complementary and Integrative Health (CIH). The VHA directive is included in the solicitation. Question: Who is the current incumbent for this project? Answer: The incumbent is The Center for Mind Body Medicine. Question: Are there any issues with the services they are currently providing? Answer: The VISN is seeking firms who are capable to develop a customized wellness program to align with VHA Directive 1137 (2) framework. Getting firm s to understand that the VISN will be relying on their core competencies, discipline, syllabus, etc. is more of a challenge, not necessarily an issue. Question: Is there a budget for this project? Answer: The award will be made on what the Government deems as fair and reasonable pricing, while achieving best value to the VISN.
