- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). This notice is not to be construed as a commitment, implied or otherwise by the Government, to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential sources capable of performing the effort described herein pursuant to FAR part 10, Market Research and FAR part 19, Small Business Programs. This is for planning purposes only. Any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought is voluntary. The Air Force does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. Respondents should not construe this notice as a commitment by the Air Force for any purpose, and should refrain from providing proprietary information in the response. 1. INTRODUCTION: This is the initial step in the planning process for Official Mail Center (OMC) And Postal Service Center (PSC) Services at 377TH Force Support Squadron (FSS). The 377 MSG/PKA at Kirtland Air Force Base seeks sources to provide high level support to the Force Support Squadron by providing Official Mail Center (OMC) And Postal Service Center (PSC) Services to the FSS. � 377 MSG/PKA anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition for this effort. The effort is expected to result in a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. NAICS code is anticipated to be 491110, size standard $8.0 million. 2. INSTRUCTIONS: All businesses capable of providing OMC and PS support in accordance with the attached draft PWS are invited to respond electronically. Responses shall include company name, address, DUNS number, CAGE code, point of contact with email address and telephone number, and �indicate business size (small business, small disadvantaged business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, economically disadvantaged woman-owned small business, woman-owned small business, or HUBZone) using NAICS 49110, size standard 8.0 million dollars. The Air Force reserves the right to consider a small business socioeconomic set-aside for any subsequent acquisition based upon responses to this notice. Small business respondents should provide a statement of capabilities to assist the Air Force in making a set-aside decision. Capabilities should include reponses to the following questions: ����������� 1. Explain U.S. postal or military postal experience? ����������� 2. Explain experience with managing, processing, and pickup/deliver of official mail? 3. Positions will require at least a secret level clearance. Would this be an issue?� Statement of Capabilities are limited to 5 pages, using Times Roman 12 Font in word searchable format, and should demonstrate capability to provide Official Mail Center (OMC) And Postal Service Center (PSC) Services. Please note: All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database.� The website for registration is www.sam.gov.
