Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government reserves the right to make no award from this solicitation.   This is a request for quote (RFQ), and the solicitation number is 36C25022Q0655. The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price Purchase Order resulting from this solicitation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circulars 2022-06, effective 05/01/2022. The associated NAICS Code is 334220, Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing.   The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10, is soliciting quotes from all sources to supply the Cleveland VA Medical Center Vocera Badges, Licenses and Warranties to support the facilities expansion efforts for this communication system. Respondents to this solicitation must fully demonstrate their capability by supplying detailed quote information, along with any other documents necessary to support the requirements below. However, we believe only Vocera s Authorized Distributors are the only Contractors able to provide this requirement for the Vocera Wireless Communications System.   Quotes are to be provided to Gina P. Crank, Contracting Officer, via email at gina.crank@va.gov, no later than May 23,  2022, by 5:00 PM EST. No telephone calls will be accepted. No submission received after the above-mentioned date and time will be accepted.    STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) 1. Contract Title. Cleveland VAMC -Vocera Wireless Communication Badge purchase request. 3. Background. The Cleveland VAMC has successfully implemented the Vocera wireless communication system through multiple contracts awarded by contracting for initial implementation, expansion and onsite/technical support. The previous awards included the purchase/delivery of Vocera wireless communication badges that are issued to staff throughout the facility. The Cleveland VAMC has a new requirement for additional badges to support the facilities expansion efforts for this communication system. 4. Scope. The contract will cover the purchase/delivery of 200 additional Vocera badges (B3000n) and 200 FIPS compliant server licenses needed for each badge. In addition, a 2-year warranty extension will be included with all 200 badges purchased. 5. Specific Tasks. Purchase and delivery of the items, licenses, warranties listed below. Deliverables: (listed above) 6. Performance Monitoring Performance monitoring will be completed by the COR. COR will be responsible to ensure all work is done in accordance with the award. 7. Security Requirements This requirement is for the purchase of handheld/wireless communication badges (equipment), FIPS compliant software licenses and equipment warranties for all devices purchased. The contract will not involve sensitive information or contractor/vendor access to VA OIT/computer systems. 8. Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE)/Government-Furnished Information (GFI). Not applicable to this request. 9. Other Pertinent Information or Special Considerations. Not applicable to this request. a. Identification of Possible Follow-on Work. Follow-on work is not anticipated but could include the purchase of additional badges, licenses, warranties. b. Identification of Potential Conflicts of Interest (COI). Risk Control This request is for the purchase of additional equipment, licenses, warranties and is considered low risk. No risk control assessment is required. 11. Place of Performance.
