Description

Contractor shall perform maintenance and installation services in support of Army marketing, recruiting, and accessions missions to include installation of five 4B3.9-G2 60 Hz-30KW generators on five International Semi-Tractors. The contractor will ensure the generator enclosures are painted black. The contractor will fabricate and install mounting assemblies for each 4B3.9-G2 60 Hz-30KW generator along with any additional hardware needed to properly install the 4B3.9-G2 60 Hz-30KW generator on each International Semi-Tractor. The contractor will ensure all electrical hookups, electrical components and battery connections are properly installed. The contractor will test each generator set upon completing the mounting requirement to ensure the generator is producing the proper voltage of 120/208, 3 Phase, 4 Wire. Any malfunctions/defects will be noted and repaired as required. The contractor will ensure the generator enclosures are primed and painted black and the enclosures will be weather protective with an exhaust system port in the enclosure. All painted surfaces shall have a paint film of not less than 2.0 mils thick and a minimum total thickness of 3.5 mils including primers. The contractor shall accomplish work resulting in installation of five new 4B3.9-G2 60 Hz-30KW generators on five International Semi-Tractors that will remain in compliance with the safety requirements as outlined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulation (FMCSR).
