Description
The Veteran s Administration (VA) Office of Research and Development, Regional Procurement Office East in Pittsburgh, PA intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Zeto Inc. based in Santa Clara, CA on behalf of the Ralph H. Johnson VA Healthcare System. The requirement is to provide one Dry Electrode system for planned VA medical studies. The specific system is based on the Zeto, Inc., WR19 headset. Any proposed systems shall meet/exceed the following minimum specifications: FDA-approved Wireless 19 channel EEG headset designed for clinical and research use. The headset is required to have 10-20 EEG electrode scalp locations and 1 EEG ground amplifier. The headset shall have a 500 Hz or greater EEG sampling rate frequency. The EEG headset shall also: Be adjustable for different head sizes. Come with a charger and charging cable. Have compatible software with 100 GB of fast access storage. Have a data buffer box to allow for streaming of EEG data to system server. Have the capability to be used for recording from 200 EEG electrodes over the 4 years of the research grant project Have video recording capabilities from a video camera device (because video-ECG-EEG recording is required per research study protocol) which streams data to system server. Have single-channel ECG electrode recording capabilities (because video-ECG-EEG recording is required per study protocol) which streams data to system server. Interface with a strobe light system device to produce photic stimulation during recordings, which is a standard stimulation during EEG recordings and is required per research study protocol Backrest system to help keep the headset on when the research subject is placed in the recumbent position (recording in recumbent position during drowsiness and sleep is required per research study protocol). Onsite training for the use of the EEG headset and compatible equipment. FDA-approved EEG Headset-compatible cloud server/database software and Premium cloud platform access for one EEG headset with the following features: At least 50 GB EEG and video cloud storage Ability to annotate the EEG as it is being recorded via streaming to/from server to a VA research laptop during recording Ability to export EEG files as European Data Format (EDF) files Ability to create custom EEG montages, annotations, and recording workflows within a web-based video-ECG-EEG visualization system). Video EEG EDF Data Export Custom recording workflows Movement Artifact Correction Strobe light control Live sessions API Plugins Automated EEG movement correction software for EEG movement artifact removal built into server/software system. The requirement will take place at a VA facility in Charleston, SC. The sole source is pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however; any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement and supporting documentation to the contracting office no later than Wednesday, May 18, 2022, (10:00 AM, EST).
