- STATEMENT OF NEED GENERAL: James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, Whole Health department services, 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd, Tampa, Florida 33612, has a requirement for SH1M2-SN Synergy H1 Microplate Reader The SH1M2-SN Synergy H1 Microplate Reader will be used at VA Research Services. BACKGROUND: The James A Haley Hospital Research Services request this SH1M2-SN Synergy H1 Microplate Reader, The reader detects light from sample reactions which are used in experiments of new drug investigations. BioTek Synergy H1 is a modular multimode microplate reader, with monochromator-based optics and filter-based optics. The patented Hybrid Technology offers flexibility and sensitivity across a broad range of applications. This new technology has quadruple variable bandwidth monochromators and optional gas control and reagent injection. The old reader is old and the maintenance costs are high. SCOPE: James A Haley is requesting contractors provide brand name or equal to Agilent BioTek Synergy H1 microplate Reader. The equipment shall meets or exceed the physical, functional and performance of the listed salient characteristics in this section. The equipment feature is essential to the technical requirements to meet the need of the government. The contractor shall provide a configurable multimode microplate reader with monochromator-based optics for flexibility, filter-based optics for sensitivity, or both. The monochromator bandwidth is both fixed and variable. Contains 6 384 well plates. It is automation compatible. It is white. Applicable model/make/catalog number SH1M2-SN.
