Description: This is a Sources Sought Notice and is for INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY.� This IS NOT a REQUEST for PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS, or BIDS.� Responses to this request will not be returned.� Not responding to this sources sought does not preclude participation in any future and potential solicitation.� It is the intent of the Contracting Office to use this information for market research purposes only.� The survey is being conducted to determine the interest of industry within NAICS code 238210 and establish if there are adequate Small Business� contractors able to perform the work described below.� The Government WILL NOT pay for the provision of any information, nor will it compensate any respondents for the development of any such information.� If a formal solicitation is released, it will be via the SAM website at www.sam.gov 1. Overview: a. Robotics System on New Vessel for Vicksburg District: The Government is in the process of building a new Mat Sinking Unit Barge (Armor One) on the Mississippi River and tributaries. The new vessel will have a one of a kind automated robotics system.� The robotics system will provide all functions for the mat laying process. The system will incorporate all manor of sensors in order to increase process safety, and to increase productivity. b. Integration Support Needed: The Government is seeking sources for integration support and testing of the robotics system. 2.� Required Contractor Activities and Effort: a. DC Bus Equipment Component Installation Support On-site component installation support per S/Y Schedule.� Per-component S/Y schedule updates. b. Commissioning Gensets Switchgear Batteries Vessel power system DC Bus System & charging system Shore Power Control & monitoring Integrator remote monitoring & trouble shooting system (IRM&TS) and internet connection. On Site commissioning support per S/Y schedule.� Commissioning Schedule updates. c. Tests & Trials On Site commissioning support per S/Y schedule.� Commissioning Schedule updates. 2. Shipyard Construction Phase � Integrator Support Tasks Ex-Yard On board support during vessel delivery trip. On board delivery trip support per S/Y schedule. Crew Training, MEPS Simulator, Digital Twin Training Accomplished, Crew provided with Training documents. 3.� Integrator at MVD Support after Delivery Activation at of the IRM&TS system. Testing over normal Mat Boat MVK operating area.� Verified Function of the IRM&TS system over MVK operating area. Crew Training� IRM&TS Mat Boat Crew Safety Training Mat Boat Crew Vessel Operations Training On board training completed, training reference materials provided to Crew. Post Delivery On-Board Integrator personnel for system operational optimization and troubleshooting, 60 vessel operating days.� Integrator Optimization & Troubleshooting report, including: personnel daily on board logs, troubleshooting results attained, and optimization changes made, with rationale.�� On board Integrator personnel for system optimization verification, health check-up & maintenance and adjustment required, 4 vessel operating days per month for 12 months duration.� Integrator Optimization and System Health Report, including personnel on board logs, system health status, maintenance and/or adjustments made, optimization results assessment and rationale revision, if needed. Support IRM&TS, including internet provider, 36 months after delivery. Daily IRM&TS reports, areas of concern identified. Direct communication alert to MVK for any maintenance or operational problems identified.
