- The purpose of this special notice is to request industry review and feedback on the draft Statement of Work (SOW) in advance of the release of a complete draft Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government is interested in feedback on the contents of the draft SOW, specifically whether the SOW provides information necessary and sufficient for proposal preparation and what additional information related to the SOW would be beneficial to potential offerors for the draft and final RFP releases. Additional individual draft documents may be released incrementally before release of the complete draft RFP.�� The forthcoming draft RFP is for the production/repair of 4mm and 6mm Video Borescopes. The USAF requirement is defined by Commercial Item Description (CID) A-A-59883A which is in draft format. The Statement of Work (SOW) included in this notice provides clear, specific and objective terms with measurable outcomes. The SOW is currently in draft format. Our draft acquisition strategy is a five-year contract (basic plus five option years). The projected quantities are unknown. � This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. The Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of submissions or of the information received, or to provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted in response to this synopsis. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this information and will not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice.�
