- The U.S. Government is currently seeking vendors that may be able to perform this requirement in order to support competitive procurement.� This notice is issued solely for information purposes � it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for BID IIFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP).� This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any services.� Further, the U.S. Government is not seeking any quotes, bids or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this sources sought notice.� If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on sam.gov for additional information pertaining to this requirement.� The Government anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed Price contract to a single awardee.� Bidders must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) http://www.sam.gov to be eligible for the award. Representations and certifications must also be on record. Responses to this notice will assist the government in identifying potential sources, in determining if a set-aside of the solicitation is appropriate, and in determining whether or not this approach to securing contracting support is practicable. The U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Benning, Georgia, 31905 is conducting a Sources Sought Synopsis to identify interested parties capable to providing Solvent Tank Cleaning Services for the 199th Infantry Brigade on Fort Benning, Georgia. The period of performance (POP) is one year. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code is 562112 (Hazardous Waste Collection) with a small business size standard of $41.5 million. This procurement is unrestricted.� This acquisition will be a potential competitive 100% set-aside for HUBZone Small Business (SB), 8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVOSB), Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB), or Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns can submit their interest in this requirement. IF ADEQUATE RESPONSES ARE NOT RECEIVED FROM THE AFOREMENTIONED CONCERNS, THE ACQUISITION MAY BE SOLICITED ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to obtain information on qualified and experienced contractors interested in providing proposals on a new requirement for a Contract, which will result in the Contractor providing Solvent Tank Cleaning Services for the 199th Brigade on Fort Benning, Georgia. Request interested firms respond to this notice and include the following in their response: 1. Firm's information [name of representative, address, phone number, CAGE Code, DUNS number]; 2. Interest in nature of participation [e.g., prime contractor, teaming partner, primary subcontractor]; 3. Business size [e.g., SB, HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, SDB, large business]; 4. Past Performance: Responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis shall indicate similar/relevant experience. Briefly describe your recent and relevant contracts within the past three (3) years for the same or similar services required under this synopsis. Contract information may include those with Federal, State and local Government, as well as private companies. Please include dollar value and period of performance. This RFI notice is issued for planning purposes only, and does not constitute a solicitation for proposals, offers, bids, and/or quotes. This is not an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation, or confirmation that the Government will contract for the items contained in the RFI, nor is any commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract implied. Responses to this notice will assist the government in identifying potential sources in determining if a set-aside of the solicitation is appropriate, and in determining whether or not this approach to securing contracting support is practicable. Respondents are advised that the government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this RFI. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. No telephone request will be honored. Any questions regarding this notice should be forwarded in writing by e-mail to alecia.m.mitchell.civ@army.mil. Interested concerns, large and small, should indicate interest, in writing to this sources sought notice shall be submitted no later than Thursday, 19 May 2022, 10:30am EST. Information submitted must be in sufficient detail as to allow for a thorough government review of firm's interest and capabilities. The government reserves the right to set this acquisition aside for Small Business, HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned small business, Woman-Owned small business, or Small Disadvantaged Business firms based on the responses it receives.
