Description

This is a�NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT�using the simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 to procure training camp services to provide senior cadet leadership training that includes facilities, lodging, meals, training areas, training activities, logistical and training support for 150 MCJROTC cadets and 8 MCJROTC instructors in a centrally located area of Region 1, MCJROTC. The Senior Leadership Camp (SLC) is required for developing the potential in JROTC cadets to become better leaders in their school and community. The camp will use a multitude of leadership exercises in an unfamiliar environment, specialized apparatus, equipment, and techniques to impart these qualities on the cadets in outdoor environment. Additionally, the camp shall provide cadets an opportunity to live with, and interact with, cadets from other schools; provide an opportunity for physical fitness; and provide in depth exposure and practice in the art of leadership not normally available to the cadets. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for the above services to OUTDOOR ODYSSEY, INC located 450 BOY SCOUT RD, BOSWELL, PA 15531 USA. Proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. DURATION: The�contract is for a period of performance from 24 July 2022 to 30 July 2022. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
