Description

THIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.� Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, intends to award a contract, on a sole source basis, to EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc.� This is a follow-on contract action updating original services previously submitted, reviewed, and accepted by the Government for multiple Air Force installations.� EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc is the current contractor for the remediation and monitoring of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), specifically perfluorooctane sulfonic acid (PFOS) and perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), and perfluorobutane sulfonic acid (PFBS) for multiple Air Force installations under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA). The Government will save funds with this sole source action by having the existing contractor continue the services without interruption for: Programmatic Planning Documents: This would be the minimum duplicative cost associated with a subsequent Contractor for the preparation, submittal, and approval of the planning documents required by regulation and contract. General Project Support: This would be the minimum duplicative cost associated with a subsequent Contractor for performing O&M for the 34 installed PFAS/PFOA systems at the multiple Air Force installations that is required.
