- Description
- The APS-U requests manufacturing of micro tungsten apertures for the BSM beamline, intercepting x-ray beam power in normal incidence. This scope is to include the fabrication to drawings (drawings provided by APS-U), Quality Control, Testing, Documentation, and delivery/shipment of the apertures along with the appropriate documentation to APS-U by the key technical, material, quality, and acceptancerequirements. In the attached Statement of Work (SOW), the manufacturer of the tungsten apertures for the BSM beamline of the APS-U project shall be referred to as the vendor. The design of the tungsten apertures is the responsibility of ANL. The vendor shall provide all material and labor to produce the tungsten apertures based on prints provided by APS-U. APS-U will provide a drawing package that reflects the design that meets all the requirements. The vendor is responsible for fabrication, quality control, test, documentation, and delivery of the tungsten apertures foils with the QA data. There are ten tungsten apertures described in detail by the following drawings: (1) A211-P10001 Tungsten Foil 1 (2) A211-P10002 Tungsten Foil 2 (3) A211-D21304 Vertical Detector Slit (4) A211-D21310 Horizontal Detector Slit (5) A211-D11102 Target Foil
